Titan IVB Rocket


Titan IVb Launch Image 1:
The Titan IVB rocket is used to launch heavy payloads into orbit. The military uses the rockets to launch satellites into Earth orbit. There are launch capabilities from both Florida and California. Lockeheed Martin began building the first Titan rockets in 1955.

Unloading a portion of a Titan IVb Image 2:
Lockheed Martin employees and airmen of the 3rd Space Launch Squadron unloaded a Titan IVB rocket from a C-5 Galaxy on Oct. 4. The rocket will be the last to launch from here in late 2004.
